Some typical examples of small
electrical jobs are: Appliance connection. Swap or upgrade existing light
fittings, socket outlets, switches etc. Lighting problems and other circuit fault-find and repair.
Prices start at just £45 and we
can usually give
you a verbal estimate over the phone. Payment is made to the electrician
on the day. Credit and Debit cards accepted.
Larger electrical jobs
Some typical examples of larger electrical jobs are:
Fuse board replacement, Rewiring, New power or lighting circuits.
Provision of a new radial circuit for an appliance or shower etc.
These will normally require a free site visit before a fixed price can
be quoted.
PAT TESTING & CERTIFICATION The following prices are fully inclusive of
labour and callout fees no other costs are to be added. When renting out a property it is advisable to have all appliances
tested AND a fixed wiring check (PIR or VCR).

Includes a SELECT Electrical Equipment Certificate and a register of
appliances with test results.

FIXED WIRING CERTIFICATION:
Periodic
Inspection Report (PIR) for reporting on an existing domestic
electrical installation within a flat or house. Includes a visual
inspection (with a sample of accessories opened for internal
inspection) and electrical testing of each circuit.
The price shown is for a domestic installation comprising
a single fuse board or consumer unit supplying up to 8 circuits. Add
£10 per additional circuit over 8.

Visual
Condition Report for reporting on an
existing domestic electrical installation within a flat or
house. This formal report provides an expert assessment of the
condition of the electrics bearing in mind the limitations of a visual
only inspection. Ideal for homebuyers and sellers.
